Last weekend in sunny Beverly Hills, one handsome boy named Sebastian, turned ONE!!

Sebastian is half Korean, meaning his first birthday is a very important milestone in the Korean culture.  Sebastian’s 1st birthday was celebrated at Lawry’s Prime Rib on La Cienega Blvd in Beverly Hills, California where we had a semi-traditional Korean “Dol” 1st Birthday celebration, with a very cute theme to it, “Where the Wild Things Are”.  Kelley, from Picture Perfect Events planned and designed (alongside with Euri from Fleuretica), planned, and coordinated Sebastian’s 1st Birthday & Dol celebration.

This was a happy and beautiful gathering of families and friends who came together in Beverly Hills from all over.  Some traveled from the East Coast, Pennsylvania (where Angela’s family is from), Angela, Danny, Sebastian as well as some work friends and myself from the San Francisco Bay Area, and the rest of Danny’s family and friends in the Los Angeles Southern California area.  Served for lunch at Lawry’s Prime Rib was the signature spinning salad with thousand island dressing, delicious prime rib, paired with mashed potatoes, creamed corn or spinach, and a yorkshire pudding pastry.  For dessert, their delicious cake from Fantasy Frostings, and coffee.  Following was the highlight of the party, the dol where Sebatstian is placed in front of toys/objects to help determine his future.  Scroll down to see what Sebastian chose!  Closing with a nice toast by Danny’s brother, Jonathan, it was a fun, joyous celebration and it was wonderful seeing both of their families and friends come together to celebrate something very special, Sebastian’s 1st Birthday!

Angela + Danny, thank you so much for having me capture an important milestone in yours and Sebastian’s life.  This was such an important and memorable celebration, and even though Sebastian’s only one, there will be many more happy years to come!!
