TODAY, and RIGHT NOW, Lena + Calvin are currently in Maldives with two of their closest friends and they are there getting married in one of the most beautiful, luxurious, places in the world!  On September 15th, 2014, Lena + Calvin will be back here for their wedding ceremony in San Francisco to say their “I do’s” with their closest friends and family at San Francisco City Hall.

Lena and Calvin met many moons ago when Calvin was a club promoter at maybe at an event, or a party.  When Calvin shared the news that he met a girl, I was so ecstatic for the both of them!!  What an amazing, beautiful, smart girl, and she was gorgeously tall to match with Calvin’s height!  We hung out whenever we could, (and well, we did a little bit of partying together).  As their relationship flourished, they took the next step by moving into San Francisco’s Mission District together since they both work in San Francisco already.  Their apartment is pretty sweet, it’s central and walking distance to all the great eats!   They also are also proud parents of a little doggie named Mocha!

Years before even proposing to Lena, Calvin already knew.  He was already sharing and conceptualizing shoots and videos to “Zedd – Spectrum“.  Of course, I’m always up for making people’s visions come true.  When the time came, and Calvin proposed and shared the news, and their next journey took off to an entirely new level.  As they’ve planned their wedding in Maldives all by themselves and are living the dream by taking the next step in their lives.

I can’t say how excited I am to have known both of them for so many years.  Calvin, I’ve known since our freshman year in High School, and we’ve been close ever since.  In case you were wondering, I received the nickname “camera whore” from Calvin because I’m the historian of all our high school years.  And well, I carried a camera with me at almost all times.  Since I left my previous career working for Advent and started Michelle Nicole Photography, they have been supportive 110% of the way.  So, I don’t do this often, but because of that, for one of my strong supporters of my career, and for the one couple that I love so dearly and close to my heart, here’s my wedding gift to you two.  It’s something for you to have, hold, and cherish, on behalf of me, Michelle Nicole Photography.

(Plus, it gave us time for me to visit them and hang out and see their cute little doggie Mocha 😉 )

Lena and Calvin, I love you both, and a gazillion congratulations.  Sending my love to the both of you, and have an AMAZING wedding in Maldives!  I wish I was there with you, but… it’s okay!  I can’t wait to see your photos, and can’t wait for your San Francisco City Hall Ceremony.
