Completing a wedding album is like closing out a chapter in your life. It’s bittersweet – a part of me is relieved because “yes! We finished it!” and the other half is sad and full of emotion because when you look back at that client’s story and realize how much time you spent with them, how well you got to know them, and how you helped capture their day – it’s beautiful. It’s been a long journey being friends with them and it’s finally coming to a close when their album is almost done.
I met Jenny + Raoul in the earlier half of 2014 when she first reached out to me and hired me on the spot, then photographed their gorgeous engagement and wedding in 2015. We finally met on Monday to finalize her album design and we completed it about an hour and a half (thanks to Fundy Software!)! It’s now at the lab getting worked on, I can’t wait to get it back when it’s all complete and deliver it to Jenny + Raoul.
On average, my clients album delivery time has been… really long. By really long, I mean on average, honestly – there are some that have taken years. I think I understand though, couples have spent up to a year or more planning their wedding and after the wedding is all done, life gets busy and the last thing on their mind is to build their album (or at least the majority!). It’s also based on my timing as well, it can get especially challenging if it’s during a crazy hectic wedding season. My goal this year is to bring that average creation to delivery time down and have that album to my clients so they can have it on their coffee table to enjoy as soon as possible! In order to do so, I’ve been meeting my clients in person or over Google Hangout to get their album completed! If you haven’t started your wedding album yet, I want to spend that time to build it with you so we can complete it! If you would like to invest an album, yes you still can – lets do it!!!
