Just a Little Thank You to Everyone

For those who read my blog and stay updated on my Facebook page, or hear about me in person, I’ve been on a crazy journey ever since April by chasing after my passion.  This journey sped up in September, and went even faster when I just came back from all my Asia travels – Philippines, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing.  I finally caught up on all my jet lag, and all the sicknesses that come inbetween, but haven’t finished writing about my wonderful experience just yet.  It will come!!!  In the meantime, I just want to thank you all for being supportive and a part of my journey – friends, family, SR community, fans, and you!!  Most of all, I want to recognize these people who have been the most significant in my journey, by far.

Scott you are an amazing person.  Ever since I met you in April 2010, my life has completely changed, and I thank you for every single moment of it.  The past few months have been the most dramatic change, traveling to NYC and China – the two biggest highlights of this year (and well, maybe the best weeks of my life!!!  …that’s probably understated, just a bit).  China was over the top, filled with mentorship, excitement, and fun – I definitely had a great time because you’ve giving me a taste of the extraordinary life and couldn’t ask for more.  I am so blessed to have you in my life and guide me through my journey.  Every time we see each other, I’m surprised at how much deeper you’re able to understand me.  These realizations are real, and they’re obstacles I need to overcome to help me go far.  You are gifted with lots of life and your help has lent me more than enough; I’m ready to soar.  Come on 2011!

Zabrina and Jeremy (JeZa) – You two are both beautiful people and always reaching above and beyond for everything.  Ever since I met you both in April, I’m so thankful to have you both a part of my journey.  I love seeing you both often during workshops and other miscellaneous activities because you two are not just good friends, you both are like my jei jei and goh goh (big sister and big brother).  You both have turned SR’s workshops over the top for many people across the world, and I don’t know what Scott would do without you both!  As you continue your journey, you know I will be right beside you both.

Darrell, as one of your peers throughout our SR Journey, I’m so proud that you experienced China!  I’m glad that you and your family was able to take a sacrifice for your future, and I’m so glad to see your imagery progress throughout such short time.  Working (or is it even work?!?) with you is just over the top, I can’t even count all the jokes we’ve gathered since day one.  I wonder what shoots would be like if we weren’t there helping each other out with our lighting, screwing on the stick, playing with the Lensbaby…etc…. hahaha.  We’ll make it one day (or at least I hope we will!).  I can’t wait to meet your wife and baby Jordan one day… and hey hey hey, I have something to tell you!

Jenny, even though we just met, it feels like I’ve known you for a LONG time.  (Just like how we’re the Chinese Mafia’s wives in this photo on the right, and playing pool while waiting for them to come back home).  I’m so glad we met in China and became more than roomies!  I hope you had just as much fun as I did… especially getting foot massages and having all of our family over in our room!  Since the beginning of the trip, I knew you definitely were someone special, and I want to you take this journey and soar with all of us.  We will have many many bumps ahead of us, but with miles apart, I’m just a phone call away… plus, we have all of our SR family for support.  There’s a reason for everything, and there has to be a reason why we met the beautiful you.  🙂  Don’t forget that you’re a part of the pack!

David, David, David… just like Scott said, you definitely have a monster in you!  Let it out and you will soar far too.  I’m keeping tabs on you so you can achieve your goals at the end of this year!

Mandie, even though we just met in September in NYC, I’m so happy you were able to make it out to San Francisco this past weekend!  Our SR Family is more than gifted to have met you, and I definitely can’t wait until you come out to SF again.  I’m so proud that you’ve taken a huge step for Red Gecko Studio and opened up your own!!!  It looks AMAZING!  I knew from the very beginning when meeting you that you were someone special – and that’s because you are!  Keep touching the lives of other people all around you, your success brings hope to all others around the world.

Hermes, Riz, and the rest of the SR Family –  You are my awesome peers that keep me going.  Without you, things wouldn’t be the same.  I’ve grown with all of you and am proud to see the great progression Scott has brought to every single one of you.  Keep trying and keep going, with hard work, you can all do it.  Also, for Master T Tauran, thank you for all the amazing advice and conversations that you have shared with me and the rest of the group.  I can’t wait to see you go even farther!

Last but not least, Thank you to all my friends, family, and fans for your continuous support throughout my journey.  Without you, I would not have the same motivation, hope, and aspirations to make my passion come true.  Thank you for spreading my name and service, and letting all your friends know that I’d love to take photos of them!

It is such a blessing to know you and it is an honor to be called your mentor, I only with the best in your life. You have amazing determination and passion, something I don’t see in too many people so I know you can make it. Keep your head up just keep improving every week. If you stay the course, I will not let you fail. It may not be easy, but well worth the journey. Thanks for being such an awesome friend!!!ReplyCancel
