One of the things I love seeing is fun and unique designs.  In the past few months, my cousin and cousin-to-be Norman and Charlene have been working hard planning their wedding.  Since Charlene is on the other side of the US in Buffalo, New York, and my cousin Norman here in San Francisco, California – they’ve been busy communicating with each other ensuring everything goes as planned for their big day on August 11, 2012.

Over the past month or so, they finalized and sent out their Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations.  Save the Dates and Invitations are a big factor for a wedding because it sets the tone of the wedding day’s theme.  Many couples have different tastes, but these designs clearly describe and resonate with who Charlene and Norman are.  Norman, my cousin, has always loved cartoons, toys, Totoro, baseball, and most importantly, Spiderman – and now, excitingly, they will play in a part of their wonderful day.

Norman found Oh So Chic Designs on Etsy, and has been ecstatically telling me all about them until they finally came in the mail.  He explained to me how many times he and Char went back and forth making sure their invitations were right.  Their first page is laminated, and a totally a cute cartoon of Char & Norm, drawn by Norm’s brother, Ben.  The next five pages, on a nice thick matte paper include their welcoming, ceremony, reception, directions, activities, and the RSVP (which is a cool tear out page).  The pages are all bound together on the bottom right hand corner.  Additionally, they hand-picked their favorite pictures from their engagement session!  I am totally loving their invitations!

Anyway, thought I’d share and feature Charlene & Norman’s hard work coordinating with Ben, as well as featuring Oh So Chic Designs for a fun, unique, and beautiful wedding invitation.  Take a look and enjoy!
