Fay + Brendan, or, who most people love to call, Frendan.

Since I was introduced to them by a mutual friend (Brent – thank you!), getting to know Fay + Brendan has been nothing short of amazing.  When I met them, they’ve been together for 5 years and met each other in college at UC Davis.  On Fay’s Birthday in 2007, she was in Thailand  by herself in Koh Samet.  She was sitting on a beach, and Brendan was waiting to give her a call to wish her a happy birthday during sunset.  Fast forward to December 2011, Fay + Brendan went on an Asia trip to Vietnam, Thailand, and Korea, and while back at Koh Samet, he went to the same exact beach and spot during sunset to ask Fay to marry him.  Of course, she said yes 🙂

Fast forward, to a more recent date in 2013… Fay + Brendan tied the knot in a magical place in Los Gatos CA, called Nestldown.  Fay had seen this location and knew that it would be the place she would get married at.  We met at the Cypress Hotel in Cupertino where Fay and Brendan were both getting ready in their hotel rooms.  Everyone was happy, smiling, and ever so excited.  Heading over to Nestldown, a magical majestic place with trees towering over, and tears of joy, we spent the next few hours with their beloved friends and family.  A fairytale, it was.

Later in the evening, Fay + Brendan’s wedding reception was filled with more family and friends.  With beautiful details everywhere and set up gorgeously, Brendan mentioned he won’t be setting foot in ANY Michael’s or JoAnn Fabrics for a long time.  The open bar began, the food came out, cupcake tower set, beautiful toasts by their Best Man Marwin, and Matron of Honor Jennifer, gorgeous first dance, Jennifer, tears of joy during their slideshow (including a few same day edits), a few “DRUNCLES” running around, a bottle of “traveling” Grey Goose flowing, and the dance floor was packed for the remainder of the night and this party ended with everyone happy.

The Emcee/Man of Honor for the day would also like to include that, “The EMCEE was totally awesome”.  Yes, I guess I’ll agree to that, Denny did a great job.

Congratulations Fay + Brendan, thank you so much for choosing us to capture your special day.  Getting to know you both are the reason why I love all my couples and sharing their journey with the rest of the world.  Love you both, and your family and friends!  *huge hugs*!
